H2V Magallanes AG appointed María Isabel Muñoz as General Manager of the association.

19/7/23

María Isabel Muñoz is a journalist from UNIACC and holds a master's degree in Strategic Communication from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI). Among other responsibilities, she was executive director of the Center for Negotiation and Relations of the UAI, director of the School of Corporate Public Relations of the UNIACC, manager of Corporate Affairs of the Vincular Center of the PUCV and director of Public Affairs of the same university. She was a member of the Board of Directors of the Asia Pacific Chamber of Commerce and was vice-president of FOCCO, a communications forum for companies.

"As a Magallanes native, I take on this challenge with great energy, convinced that the development of this industry can be transformational for Magallanes and for Chile. We are going to work hard to make this association a space for exchanging experiences, but also for working with the community and the authorities, promoting an early linkage and active listening", said the new executive.

The board of the association, meanwhile, noted that Muñoz's professional experience and his focus on sustainability and relationship with the environment will be very valuable to contribute to the sustainable development of green hydrogen and its derivatives, highlighting the interest that more companies can join this initiative, joining efforts as a guild to promote the process of energy transition and decarbonization, in line with the Green Hydrogen Action Plan 2023-2030 of our country.
