Invited by the Municipality of Punta Arenas and the Santo Tomás de Punta Arenas Institutions, we attended the Opening Ceremony of the Week of Culture and Trade of China in Chile, which took place at the Cultural Center of our regional capital.
On the occasion, we shared with important local authorities and business representatives, on the occasion of the visit of the Ambassador of China, Mr. Niu Qingbao. In his speech, the Ambassador explained that both the digital economy and the green economy are important dimensions in the Development Strategies of both countries. To this end, he called his delegation of visiting businessmen and financial institutions to share experiences with Chile, in the construction of new infrastructure, to explore the potential for cooperation in emerging fields such as digital economy and clean energy, aligned to the One Belt One Road initiative, to create new points of cooperation in areas such as 5G, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, smart cities, biomedicine and applications for the Green Hydrogen industry.
After the ceremony, we participated in a business networking table and then a private lunch with the Ambassador and his delegation, authorities and business representatives.
