The companies that make up the H2V Magallanes Trade Association had an outstanding participation in the Second Magallanes Green Hydrogen Educational Fair, an event organized by Corfo and held for two days in the Punta Arenas Free Trade Zone.
The meeting provided opportunities for dialogue and exchange between future energy project developers and the Magellanic community.
In this citizen initiative, the companies that make up H2VMagallanes disseminated the characteristics of their projects, in what stages of development they are and also highlighted the contribution of new industry with decarbonization and energy transition.
One of the highlights of the Educational Fair was the panel "Dimensions of Green Hydrogen: Scale of Land Use in Magallanes", led by Regional Directors of H2V Magallanes.
The executives highlighted the challenge that the installation of an innovative industry means, that welcomes the concerns of the citizens and that wants to become a source of work for new generations. They also responded to concerns focused on aspects related to the installation of the future energy industry, such as the requirements of environmental regulations, the need for public-private enabling infrastructure, the efforts to mitigate the impact of the projects, together with the productive value chain and the formation of human capital in Magallanes.
The group was formed by Marcela Díaz, Institutional Relations and Public Affairs Manager of Acciona & Nordex Green Hydrogen; Grani Martic, Sustainability and Public Affairs Manager of Consorcio Austral; José Montero, Project Manager Officer of EDF Chile; Ericka Farías, Community Relations Manager of HNH Energy; Víctor Fernández, Public Affairs Manager of TEG Chile; and Mónica Buvinic, Public Affairs Manager of TotalEnergies H2.
The executives highlighted the opportunity to participate in this panel discussion, where they interacted directly with the large audience that attended the closing activity of the event organized by Corfo.
