11/11/24

H2V Magallanes announced the incorporation of Acciona & Nordex Green Hydrogen (ANGH) as a new member of this trade association.

"We warmly welcome ANGH as a new member of H2V Magallanes, who join our organization contributing to the implementation of the industry, with the firm commitment to develop sustainable projects and collaborate with the objectives of decarbonization of Chile and the world," said Mario Marchese, President of the Trade Association of Green Hydrogen and its derivatives of Magallanes.

ANGH is currently developing the Frontera project in Tierra del Fuego and the Cabeza del Mar project in Punta Arenas.

Francisco Iacona, ANGH Development Director for Latin America, said that "Chile faces a great challenge: to position itself as a world leader in the production of green hydrogen. Achieving this goal is only possible with a strong collaboration between the public and private sector, together with the support of the Magallanes community. We are proud to be part of H2V Magallanes, where we will contribute to advance towards decarbonization through sustainable projects. Our commitment is to foster a greener future, promoting a balance between environmental regeneration and social progress for Chile and the planet".

The H2V Magallanes Association is currently made up of seven companies with projects in different stages of development in the region: Consorcio Austral, EDF Chile, EDF Renewables, HNH Energy, TEG Chile, TotalEnergies H2 and Acciona & Nordex Green Hydrogen.
