H2V Magallanes met with the Board of Directors of the Chilean Chamber of Construction Magallanes.

Representatives of the Board of Directors of the Association of Producers of Green Hydrogen and its derivatives of Magallanes met with their peers from the Chilean Chamber of Construction (CChC) in Punta Arenas.

The meeting allowed to raise criteria around the challenges and opportunities generated by the hydrogen industry and its derivatives for both future producers and local business, referring to the CChC members in Magallanes.

The representatives of the Trade Association highlighted this opportunity for dialogue and rapprochement, which they hope will lead to joint work actions, especially in the implementation and operation stages of H2V projects in the region.

They also stated that the construction sector is key and fundamental for the development of the new industry.

Antoine Liane, General Manager of TotalEnergies H2; Mario Marchese, HNH Energy Project Director; Mónica Buvinic, Public Affairs Manager of TotalEnergies H2; José Montero, Project Director of EDF Chile; and Grani Martic, Sustainability and Public Affairs Manager of Consorcio Austral participated in the activity.

H2V Magallanes is made up of projects in varying degrees of progress, both on the mainland and on the island of Tierra del Fuego, belonging to seven companies. They are: Consorcio Austral, EDF Chile, EDF Renewables, HIF Chile, HNH Energy, TEG Chile and TotalEnergies H2.
