HNH Energy joins H2V Magallanes AG

The trade association H2V Magallanes announced the incorporation of the company HNH Energy as a new member, following the approval of the board of directors at an extraordinary meeting of members held last week in Punta Arenas.

According to the General Manager of H2V Magallanes, María Isabel Muñoz, "the integration of HNH Energy as a new partner is an important milestone, as it strengthens our representation in the region and enhances our efforts to move towards the creation of a clean fuel production hub that will allow us to decarbonize the energy matrix and contribute to regional sustainable development".

HNH Energy is a consortium whose partners Austria Energy, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Okowind specialize in the development, construction and operation of renewable projects and their respective infrastructures in different parts of the world.

HNH Energy's Project Manager, Mario Marchese, valued this milestone noting that "our purpose is to always work collaboratively to achieve the goal of making Magallanes a key place in the development of this new industry. We will continue working together with the community, other companies and the authorities to achieve the sustainable development of this industry in the region".

The H2V Magallanes Trade Association was formed in April this year and brings together developers of green hydrogen projects in the Magallanes Region. With this new incorporation, the association is composed of six companies that have green hydrogen projects in the region at different stages of development: EDF Chile, EDF Renewables, HIF Global, HNH Energy, TEG Chile and Total Eren.
